NEW MEMBERS – Synkero, ConPackSys & Aeroborn

Members

Since last month we have three new members in the CO2 Smart Use community. The new members are Synkero, ConpackSys and Aeroborn. We aim to introduce everybody who joins the community. They will introduce themselves by a couple questions.

What is your name and the name of your Company?

My name is Joost Brinkman and I’m managing director at Synkero.

Can you tell a bit about what you do in the field of CCU?

We aim to produce synthetic kerosene in which (biogenic) CO2 is an important feedstock.

How can the network or its members help you and/or your business?

The network can help us with supplying us with (biogenic) CO2. Also by supporting the lobby towards EZK/PBL on the SDE++ to include other forms of CCU besides greenhouses for the CCU-category.

What is your name and the name of your Company?

Mark van der Linde, I’m a sales engineer at ConPackSys.

Can you tell a bit about what you do in the field of CCU?

ConPackSys is an engineering firm located in Dordrecht, the Netherlands close to the Rotterdam and Antwerp harbours. We specialize in the engineering, packaging, construction and commissioning of compressor systems for the industry. As such we are also involved in the compression of CO2. All the way back in 2003 we were involved with the first CO2 injection application in the Netherlands. We delivered an Ariel compressor to the offshore platform K12b for the re-injection of CO2 produced from the reservoir.

How can the network or its members help you and/or your business?

We can assist other companies with their questions around compression in their development of CCU. Also, we are curious what additional requirements/constraints there might be for other applications of CO2 such as conversion.

AEROBORN

What is your name and the name of your Company?

Man Yong Toh, I’m the founder of Aeroborn.

Can you tell a bit about what you do in the field of CCU?

Aeroborn develops technological innovation to turn excess CO2 into useful, marketable products. We believe that Carbon Capture and Utilisation technologies can make a significant contribution to the goal of having a climate neutral Europe in 2050 through the reduction of net CO2 emissions from 4 crucial sectors of our economy: energy, process industry, transport and construction.

How can the network or its members help you and/or your business?

We’re here to connect with likeminded individuals and companies and hope to share knowledge and opportunities.
