Consortium launches Zenid – Jet fuel made from air.

The project was featured during the High-Level Conference on Synthetic SAF from the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

Rotterdam The Hague Airport (part of Royal Schiphol Group), Rotterdam the Hague Innovation AirportSkyNRG, Climeworks and Uniper will collaborate to take the next step in building an industrial size demonstration plant producing sustainable aviation fuel only from air, water and renewable electricity.

The project was featured during the High-Level Conference on Synthetic SAF from the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management together with Cora van Nieuwenhuizen and Frans Timmermans.

Jet fuel produced via direct air capture is the most scalable sustainable aviation fuels pathway and contributes to the net zero targets of the aviation industry.
